Due to the terrible winter, the preparation for the first events did not go as planned and the season got off to a slow start. However, Ballyengland Rebel finished the CIC*** at Houghton just outside the Top20. Tom Tom Go 3 got a good run in the CIC*** at Bramham and Barbury.

The second half of the season turned out to be a lot better. After Ballyengland Rebel finished 2nd in the CIC*** at Hopetoun, I had very successful weekend at Blair Castle. Blair seems to be one of my favourite events, winning the CCI* and finishing in 4th place at my first 3* star the previous year, I completed the CCI*** on my dressage score to finish 2nd. Two of my younger horses, Win and Love and Ikonic, were both in the Top15 of the CCI*. Tom Tom Go 3 gave me one of my best rides across country and finished just outside the Top20 in a very competitive CIC***. At the end of the season, Tom Tom Go completed his first CCI*** at Boekelo and only one week later I travelled all the way to Pau, France to contest my first 4*.
